Voting Process
The Protocol is governed and upgraded by SEEDx holders and delegates.
Proposing & Voting Powers
There are two powers associated with each SEEDx token:
The proposing power gives access to creating and sustaining a proposal.
The voting power is used to vote for or against existing proposals.
Holders of SEEDx tokens in a particular block are granted governance rights in accordance with their total token holdings and delegations.
How do I vote?
You'll need SEEDx coins, either owned or delegated, to take part in SEEDx on-chain governance. To pay for the charges of transactions, you will also require BNB.
You may participate in SEEDx Governance by casting a vote if you own or have been allocated tokens and a relevant proposal is up for voting.
To cast your vote, navigate to the proposals page and click on an active proposal.
How do I delegate?
Voting privileges in SEEDx may be transferred to an other email address. To take part in SEEDx governance, one just has to be delegated authority, regardless of whether or not they really own any SEEDx. A user's SEEDx balance is converted into an equal amount of votes that may be cast by the delegate. Delegation is limited to a single address. Up until the sender re-delegates or transfers their SEEDx, their votes will be cast in every subsequent block.
Both the governance site and the token's code base allow token holders to delegate one or both of the token's governance powers. An authorized user cannot transfer their authority to another user.
Token holders may vote and propose from several addresses. Nevertheless, only full or no delegation of authority is possible.
To delegate your tokens to a wallet address:
Go to SEEDx Governance
Click on "Delegate"
Select type of power you want to delegate
Provide the Wallet Address of the person you want to have access to your votes and/or proposals. The delegation of authority does not result in the transfer of tokens.
